Bulgur Medium


Bulgur is made form wheat grains that have been steamed and cracked, then dehydrated. With a subtle wheat flavour and aroma, bulgur has a light, fluffy consistency, similar to couscous or quinoa.

How to Use
Easy to prepare as it does not need to be cooked. Cover bulgur wheat with boiling water and let stand for about 40-60 minutes, fluffing occasionally with a fork. When the cracked wheat is rehydrated with a slightly chewy, tender texture, drain any excess water and add directly to recipes or refrigerate for up to 2 days. Can be served in side dishes, soups, salads, savoury dishes and added to baked goods.
Storage Shelf Life
Store in an air tight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Up to 12 months when stored as above.
