Flax Seed Brown Organic

It is best to grind or “crack” flax seeds before using or chew them very well otherwise, they may pass through the body undigested. Use a rolling pin, mortar and pestle or blender.

Flax seeds are also referred to as linseeds and have a nutty flavour. They can be ground with almonds and sunflower seeds, making fresh LSA (linseeds(flax), sunflower seeds and almonds).

Ground flax seeds can be added to smoothies, acai bowls, and quinoa or oat porridge. They are a great addition to baked muffins, bread, and cookies when grounded. Try adding to muesli bars and energy balls or sprinkling over cereal, yogurt, salads or steamed vegetables.
