Flour Spelt Whole Grain Organic
Spelt is an ancient grain related to wheat that has a nutty taste and aroma, It can be used for most baking needs however, it often requires a little less liquid than what flour, try reducing liquid by 10%. Spelt flour may not rise as much as some other flours so add a raising agent, such as yeast or baking powder, when using a recipe that needs self raising flour. Great in bread, puddings, cakes, muffins and biscuits. Also suitable for rue and sauces, batters and dusting.
