Paprika is the name given only slightly hot and sweet members of the capsicum family. Paprika is most appreciated for its vibrant colour and agreeable, full-bodied flavour, while chillies are used mostly for their flavour and heat. It is very red in colour and has no bitter aftertaste. Sweet Hungarian Paprika is often used in Hungarian goulash and European recipes.
